Help break light leds out ! What do I do?!
In any lighting issue, always check the connector first. You would need to get in behind the trunk liner in the area of that non-working light - there should be a connector in that area. Unplug and plug it a couple times and see if that helps, sometimes a spot of corrosion builds up and does strange things. I just had an issue with back-up camera and this did the trick. If you have or get any dielectric grease, it also helps.

Looks like you'd have to cut the assembly apart to get to the circuit board, then have to figure out if it's led, resistor, or circuit breakdown.
