MY ROOF SPOILER: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Open-Box-10-...72.m2749.l2649
MY LOWERING LINKS:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-16-MERC...ZTKvOZ&vxp=mtr
The lowering links I purchased were super easy to install. I'm a girl with no prior experience with lowering a car with airmatic system.
The links I bought comes with instructions and says that you dont need to take off the front wheels but I highly suggest you do and have a friend to lend a hand.
once you take off the wheels you will see a black plastic link behind the strut and all you need to do is take a flat head screw driver and stick in their a pry it out (dont be afraid to get a little rough, just mind your struts - you dont want to damage that)
As for adjusting the link:
you just to screw it - the links I bought maxes out at about a two inch drop. I maxed my links out all the way and you just connect the ball joints to the links and VOILAA!! you're done.
The links I bought from ebay comes with instructions and pictures so its much easier to follow.

hahah don't mind my hood ornament
I bought the car with the taillights already like that, but I believe they are tinted, but I also tinted the little corners of my headlights as well

rides well, of course its a little stiffer and slightly bouncer like with any lowered car, great thing is that it looks low but i can get in and out plazas and go over speed bumps just fine :-)

Looks great but how's the alignment look like? The rear wheels looks super tucked in and I've had issues in the past on my last 550 w/ airmatic where my inner tires went bald after just 8000 miles due to excessive negative camber. Adjusting for toe didn't even help either.

Does this maintain the functionality of the airmatic meaning can still raise up if needed?
Did you have to remove any components? Seems pretty straight forward but just asking.

Yes! I can still raise it if needed, i believe it still raises up about two inches. The only thing I removed were the original links to replace it with adjustable ones.

Mehhh, the rears LOOK tucked in but the alignment is actually pretty good. You can still air up the car if needed, and there's actually no camber adjustment on my car. I'm riding on 18s right now but if i got 20s - fitment would look much better. hit about 2k miles and my tires arent balding yet!

CAMBER – Allows to actually “change tire contact angles” to resolve costly, premature edge tire wear, improving traction/understeer/oversteer
CASTER – Correctly resolves steering pull, increases steering response. With better turn in and high speed directional control. Along with improved anti dive/lift under brake and acceleration
No above Camber and Caster adjustment is OK if maintained and driven at showroom height. But the reality of day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads or altered height through load carrying or lowering. Fitting wide profile tires. Curb knocks.... Camber and Caster - full adjustment capability is essential.
For the front (only) you can fit inaccurate (one only offset position) fluted bolts – but they only offer a minimal 0.3 degrees (1/8”)!
We saw the need therefore to re-instate from the early 90’s precise/full adjustment capability – TO FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
The K-MAC patented design front kit provides up to 3 times the adjustment range of the “one position” bolts and is PRECISE SINGLE WRENCH ADJUSTMENT – accurately on car (under load) direct on alignment rack.
Extra feature is that the front kit replaces the 4 highest wearing bushings and is 2 axis/mono ball (self aligning) without the OEM oil and air voids. Result is noticeably improved brake and steering response.
Rear kit also provides precise Camber adjustment for the first time (and extra Toe adjustment to compensate for the new Camber facility).
Also manufactured are front “replacement” top strut mounts (coil spring models) – for “Track days” Stage 2 (Street/Race) or Stage 3 (Full Race) when wanting to reduce understeer – in the pursuit of hitting those corner apexes every time and going deeper into the corners with increased traction and braking response.
Another popular kit manufactured is uprated replacement bushings (12) for the ‘6’ multi link rear arms. Providing significant improvement to rear end stability, less twitch/flex, improved traction especially when applying power to lane change/overtake.
