steering wheel will not tilt

2013 E350 Bluetec, 2007 Corvette supercharged, Saab 9-5, Hyundai Genesis Sedan
steering wheel will not tilt

My 2013 w212 steering wheel no longer tilts. It does go in and out as normal but nothing when I go to tilt. Thoughts?

Lots of trouble with this. See #4 post in this thread. When mine quit this worked for me.

My hand is a little sore as it took several attempts but it did the trick.

I turned off the auto feature so it doesnt go back to the top and stop again.

Much appreciated!

I love when you can fix something by just beating on it. If it breaks it was no damn good anyway.

This happened to me and the dealer reset the system using the diagnostic tool. I turned off auto tilt just to be safe. I think an OBDII tool will do the job.
