Is your w212 front grille blacked out like this?
Hello! I'm looking for someone who has the piece of the front grille blacked out with glossy black, not the entire grille. Im having a difficult time trying to visualize it or photoshopping it in. I'm looking for something like the one on the s class.

Not exactly what you are asking about, but after water softener fell on my grille (yeah, S**t happens) I bought Chinese grille that imitates newer cars.
Price was good and looks good from front, but the profile angle is slightly too high.

yeah, my 2010 has alot of rock chips. First owner didn't care enough to put a clear bra on her. Going to have it repainted and clear bra while getting a new grille because mine is falling apart.
You could also consider application of gloss black wrap which seems to be more forgiving than paint and can be changed or removed. In my case I used 3M brushed titanium wrap on grille and teamwork to take the edge off the chrome shine. I mention 3M because its an excellent material.

Hello, I forgot to clarify that I will be using black vinyl, just want to see how it could look before I purchase the vinyl.
I used to live in San Francisco area and blackened-out MB was the thing of Russians living in the area.
From about 50 cars I've seen on the streets I liked ..... 1.
Very easy to butcher the idea, so be very careful.

Now in Vegas, so far only once I stop at red light next to something that I barely recognized as older C class.
-lifted
-24" wheels
-no badges
-double stripe going front to back over the roof, like some US racers used to have.
- with the sodium light I could not recognized what color it was, but looked greenish.
Who would do something like that? Need to keep my camera closer for next time.
