What do you mean by sometimes they dance and sometimes not? Mine do the calibration movement on every start unless, for example, I were to start the car then turn it off then start it back again. In that case it does not do a second calibration.
You saying that yours do not calibrate even after the car has sat overnight? If so something is not right.

I bought mine from a private seller but I have seen many on ebay that look the same - search for W212 diamond grille.
UPDATE
After driving around for a few days and ample opportunity to use the headlights during day and night, I'm happy to report almost everything is working normally. The only remaining issue is the *Active Headlamps Inoperative* message on the cluster and as a result the auto leveling and auto cornering features are currently not working. The tech in Germany is going to take another look at it next week sometime and this weekend I'm going to run my own Xentry diagnostic to see if I can figure it out. I'm confident I'll get it ironed out soon. That said, I'm going to start a new thread with all the DIY info for all those out there looking to do this retrofit. It's going to be a work in progress which I'll be doing in tidbits at a time.
