looking for spark plug wire for 2012 e350

Hi All,

This is my first post here. I'm in the process of changing the spark plugs on my wife's 2012 e350 with the M276 engine. Apparently when they built the car, they didn't put any grease on the spark plug boots and they all broke during removal. I'm looking for the part number of just the wire/boot, but I can't for the life of me find the part number anywhere.

I did find PN: 276-159-00-42, but according to several websites it doesn't fit my car even though the picture I see online looks exactly what I have.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Nevermind, the part number that I had in the original post was correct. It's molded right onto the spark plug wire connector. PN: 276-159-00-42.

For anybody who is going to do this job, I'd recommended just having a set of these on hand before you start, as 5 out of the 6 wires broke on me. There's really no way to pry it off the plug from the bottom as the boot is buried in a deep hole. It was a pain in the butt getting the remnants of the boot off the plug as if i left it there my spark plug socket would not engage the spark plug.

I'll be sure to put some grease on the inside of the new boots prior to installing them.

Do it when they are slightly warm and they come off much easier. They come out nice when hot, but it's not easy to get in there when the engine has been running recently.

There isn't grease on them from the factory, which seems like an oversight IMO. I use the MB spark plug grease, it's neon green and seems to work pretty well but any plug grease will be better than the nothing they put on there from new.
