My bad. I should've have been more specific although that data is very appreciated. I just wanted to confirm the options and packages the car shipped with vs. what this dealer is stating it has. They say it has preimum leather and it obviously doesn't. But is nice to see that there have been no serious issues with the vehicle per the provided data.

No. It doesn't look like this one has the P2 package. Kinda a weird build. It has parktronic, pano sunroof, Logic 7, AMG body and sport pkg. It says COMAND online with DVD changer option 512 but not sure this includes the hard drive with GPS. It's not a real issue for me. I hated the COMAND GPS in my wife's ML. Use my iphone

The only thing a little concerning is the lack of maintenance history once it was out of warranty. It may have been done at an independent shop, but there's a big block where it isn't on the MB history. Def not a deal breaker, just something to consider.

Yea I saw from 14 to 16 there is a gap. I'm gonna take it to a shop I trust to take a look at it this week.

It looks like it had a full 40k done at the dealer, which is good, but then wasn't back until 75k and only got an oil change, not a full 80k, so it may be due for a pretty heavy service, and if it missed a couple oil changes, sludge and leaks are a real issue on the 642 when the oil gets bad. Not trying to scare you, just making you aware. If it's been serviced somewhere else you are good to go.

That is one reason I'm considering a 2011 E350 gas at the local MB dealer. That one has a flawless service history.

I never worry much about records on diesels. Those engines can take abuse and if they were neglected, good PPI will find it.
But lack of GPS can be an issue. Our W212 doesn't have one and that is problem for my wife, as she had hard time to navigate on cellphone.
There seems to be option of adding android, but the long topic on this forum is not confirming the GPS on them work well.
Regardless if you care about the option or not, that is probably why the car is still sitting on dealers lot.
Good diesels fly in this country.

I got used to my phone. I drove a junker rover discovery for years and didn't get in deck GPS until recently. Besides, I have a feeling that paying for an update to the maps from the dealer will be pricey. More than just buying a separate unit like a garmin which you can get with unlimited map updates, traffic, etc.

I did look at the carfax history and for the service gap it appears that the oil changes were done at kwik car and places like that. I'm not sure if carfax picks up every oil change or not. Maybe a little more concerning after doing some more research on the OM 642 engine. It looks like regular maintenance is the key to this powerplant lasting.
