E350 Sport Grill INSTALLED

I did have to drop the bumper but definitely was as hard as it sounds. Took a little over an hour, including beer time. Illuminated star also. I love the new look!

i did have to black out the chrome grill trim and the fins in the grill. Very easy too! Wheels coming next week!

How much was the grille? I'm a bit neutral on the grille looks but the tacked on fender vents would be a nono for me.

I like that grill! Here's mine... and I have to agree on the fake fender side vents, not my speed. Car looks good otherwise!

Those fake grill is not my style but the front end looks good
Also, is your vehicle 4matic? I mean, your wheels are for sale after to upgrade?
I'm from UNCC area, NC.

i just bought the car and they were already on there. I’m trying to find a way to get them off without damaging the paint. I don’t like them either lol. Short term problem lol

the grill was $155 on Amazon

I agree with the previous poster about the fake side vents. Not on a MBZ!! I see you said they were already on there when you purchased.

Try using dental floss. Get a long piece and slide it behind it and carefully move it back and forth while pulling it and it should cut through the adhesive. Then you just have to get the sticky adhesive off. Maybe alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover). Worth a try.

Thats a good looking car, I'm so glad you're getting rid of the JC Whitney vents. Moderate application of heat helps the adhesive release, unless you are experienced with a heat gun use a hair dryer. The fishing line method works pretty well.
Be really careful before using any chemical on the paint as you can damage the clear coat if there is a reaction. There are products designed for this, I've used Xylol on another vehicle followed by immediate wash and wax on the freshly cleaned area. I suggest trying removal chemical on a spot not easy to see before applying to those very noticeable upper fenders.

3m makes an adhesive remover spray. Safe on the paint and removes that double sided tape easy.
