20" on E550 4Matic - Strut clearance problem

Would like to install a set of AMG 20" wheels (43mm offset vs 48mm stock) with 245-35-20 tires all around on my 2014 E550 4matic. PROBLEM is outside of strut lower spring perch interferes with the wheel. Considering modifying or trimming about 1/4" off of the outside of the front spring lower perch and adding a 15mm spacer to clear the mod-strut. Has anyone trimmed the strut spring lower base/perch or offer another solution? I am not interested in rubber-band tire profiles.

Only MBs - the best or nothing

245/35-20 do not fit upfront on non-airmatic W212 due to spring perch rubbing. Use 235/35-20 (255/30-20 is rubber-band you correctly do not want, but also do fit).

So you mean 235/35/20 can work on 2011 e550 with 45 et?!?!?
