w212 E550 airbag replacement
2010 E550 4Matic. hi guys I need some advice replacing right side roof curtain airbag and rear right airbag, found them on eBay for a reasonable price but I’m wondering if there’s any special précaution when replacing and how, also how to delete the airbag light/message.... any advice is greatly appreciated guys.

To delete the message you would have to reset it with a computer , when you install a new one.
its also pretty easy to get to those so you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks the response! Yeah I removed the one right by the rear seat and I’ll remove the head liner for the second one on the roof. I got them ordered and coming this way, sale part numbers. It turns out my rear seat belts has been retracted so I got those coming new as well. Once I get done I’ll see a local Mercedes Mechanic or dealer to reset. I don’t know what else I should look for but will see...

Check airbag sensors as well , just in case.

If your car was involved in an accident(my guess) either front or rear , they could go bad after collision.

Yeah I’ve been looking up sensor locations online. It’s been just a slight hit on the right side. Nothing in front or back. I have both right side doors coming complete with new sensors. Is there any other sensors I should look for besides the doors?

not that i know of. Replace the doors , replace overhead airbag , reset the srs light and you done.
