On my 320 Bluetec it is 30 mpg, on 250 Bluetec i think 35 mpg.
The 99.9 mpg is the end of the scale as I calculated that driving 10 miles down from the mountain the car had to average above 150 mpg.
Enough for the counter to keep 99.9 for following 15 miles of flat freeway driving, where the car averages 60 mpg. at those speeds.
The 50 miles trip show 58 mpg average as I had to cut across the city later on.
Or in different way, I made 50 miles trip for 2 dollars and 70 cents.
How is that for AMG owners?

Quite by accident, I replicated this myself (as I described) just the other day. Before adding gas, I jotted down the previous data, then reset the "After Reset" screen. I left the "After Start" page as it was. I then filled up the tank, and shazaam, I got the 99.9mpg on both screens before starting the engine. The "After Start" screen showed the miles I had traveled befor refuelling, as it should (since I did not reset it.) YMMV
Not surprising. The new cars and trucks are getting much better miles per gallon. My 2018 Yukon XL Denali 6.L V8 4wd , 10 speed transmission on 1000 mile round trips to Florida gets 23 to 24 mpg. And that is loaded with 5 people one bulldog and all the luggage. The new Mercedes turbo 4cyl. with electric boost will be delivering about 400hp and 400 torque and get 30% better mpg.
