Välkommen,
When you say it won’t start, does it just crank for an extended period and then you stop? It could just be a bad starter. Older cars used to suffer from heat soak to the starter and cause starting problems when the car was warm. Modern cars don’t usually suffer from this, but it’s possible your starter is not functioning properly. Do you have the Eco start/stop as well?

Tack så mycke.
*the car sounds like its going to start for a sec then it shuts down, and some times i can just hold the key on the same position and the car makes another try by its self then it starts.
yes i have start/stop..
but it never does that on start/stop funktion

i have cought this on camera several times doing just that.
so i have send the videos to the dealer, they say they send the videos to Mercedes in germany, but still no answer

thank you 4 replying

Yes, if your Eco function is working every time then something else is wrong. I can’t point you to other posts on here with a similar issue. People have had long cranking periods before start and this was usually a battery problem or the starter was failing. Have you swapped keys to make sure it wasn’t a glitch in the key switch itself? It almost seems like your key is not communicating for a brief moment. If they do find your problem please let us know to help others. I’m a 4th generation Swede in the US 👍

4th gen very cool.

yes i have swaped keys, but it does it with both keys.
and to be honest im too leaning on its something with the keys.
because it seems that with the other key its doing it more often so i have taged the keys with nr and im just now for a couple of days trying out the keys by swaping them each day just to finde out more about that.
but im realy not sure, because no faulty codes are stored in the car. Beside that one faulty code i mentioned earlyer that is fixed and gone.

Today i drove the car and i stoped 4 times at different locations and it started with no problems.

and another thing is when it wont start i have a lot of shaking from the engine.
