need better oil filter wrench

Today was the first time I set out to change the oil on my 2010 E350 myself. Up to now its been done at the dealer. I use a Jabsco electric pump for oil removal. First step however is removing the old filter. I have a filter wrench that works fine on my C280, but would not work on the E350's cap. It slipped. So I stopped, and am now looking for a better wrench to get the filter cap off.
Any suggestions for a wrench that will get my cap off the filter housing. Thanks

This is what I use on my W212 (2012 E550). It also worked on my W204.

I use a 74mm 14 flats oil filter cap wrench - eBay cheapie that works fine. Because the cap has an o-ring only minimal tightening is needed. I tighten by hand followed by just a slight touch with the tool.
IMO if the cap wrench slips the cap may be on more tightly than it needs to be. The o-ring fits into a slightly angled recess in the filter housing, as the cap is tightened the o-ring is wedged increasingly into position.

I bought a 74 mm, 14 flat tool from AutoZone for $5 or so. Works fine for me.

Yes,
But the way my car has the filter housing it does not leave much room to use the strap wrench.
