Transmission anomaly/normal behaviour? Help

Transmission anomaly/normal behaviour? Help

Hello. I just picked up my first Mercedes a few weeks back. A 2015 E250 4Matic Bluetec. After driving it for this time I noted a behaviour of the transmission that I’m not sure whether it’s normal or it’s an issue.

Im hoping other owners can help me out. When I come to a stop, and not moving off right away the car kind of jerks after 7 seconds +/-. My foot is steady on the brake pedal. It’s subtle but noticeable and happens all the time. No trouble lights are on. The car performs as expected under all other conditions.

Does anyone else experience this? Normal? I have a few thousand kms left on warranty and want to sort this out.

Sounds like the 'start-stop' function which is normal...

I was thinking that might be the case, however, the engine does shut off under the right conditions, and much earlier than 7 seconds.

Mine does the same. The dealer said something about the coupler. Does it happen all the time? Next time it happens, let go of the brake and let the car coast a few seconds and hit the brakes again. Does it happen then?
