Acess to STAR SDS on facelift - what can be changed?
A member of my family owns a pretty full-featured german car shop with a the full STAR SDS system. I had planned on using it to disable the automatic eco start/stop but that got me thinking, what other parameters or toggles can I switch on a facelift? Any suggestions?

No idea if that is possible. I think the '13 has the color cluster? My '11 is black and white IC, and I don't have any issues with daylight illumination, or ability to test the '13 settings.

Note that some changes with SDS are irreversible, and you could make your car into a brick. Be aware or start paying a dealer to fix it. I stay aware.
I found this SDS tutorial on the W211 E55 Group. The E55 is an inexpensive rocketship, so the owners have some money left over to play with SDS and mods.

There is a lot you can change with developer mode in DAS vehicles. But, Xentry vehicles (212, 204,166,222 and up) is a whole different stories. For those vehicles you can use DTS Monaco, Vediamo or AVDI.

I believe this is actually a xentry system, maybe I was just using the old name? Any idea what can be done with xentry vs SDS?

You are getting all these systems confused. Xentry software is used for all newer cars (204 166 212 213 222 and so on). Das is the system for older cars(203 211 164 221 171 208 and so on). SDS stands for STAR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM which is the original tablet and multiplexer used at the dealer. Right now, as I mentioned coding using Xentry is not possible. I have done some coding on newer cars but I use aftermarket software/scanner. I use Xentry/DAS for normal online programming and coding when new modules are installed.
