The red LED in my passenger mirror for the blind spot monitoring no longer illuminates. I noticed the day before it stopped working completely that it would flicker when it should have been solidly lit. The car still beeps if I put my turn signal on when there is a car next to me, so I'm guessing just the LED is burnt out. The amber LED works as usual. Are these replaceable, or do I need a new mirror?

Best to pull fault codes may be sensor malfunction, check your email for mirror replacement info.

X2 on checking for possible code. Just a guess but that may be an led switchback bulb handling both colors. If it's got a problem it may be repairable by careful desoldering and resoldering new bulb. But also guessing it may be on a circuit board.
One of those repairs that's usually done by replacement though due to the fiddly nature of the repair.

On the right the orange works but the red doesn’t light up but I get the audible beeps.
What was the fix?
thanks a lot

New OE mirrors $700-800 ($1200 list) or find a used of eBay for a couple hundred. I'd scan for codes with appropriate scanner, before dropping a few hundred or thousand on mirrors.

I was referring to just the glass... no reason to replace the entire mirror assembly. I suspect it would require paint, like most body/trim parts: bumpers, mirror housings, antenna covers, certain trim work (not piano, chrome or anodized aluminum). I think, you can get door handles pre-painted...

Resolution of issue
thanks I bought a new mirror and replaced it and it works like new. Just the LED was faulty but u cannot buy just the LED. The drivers side mirror is very expensive as it has auto dimming so would suggest buy right side mirror and swap out LED. I bought from dealer.
