What features do you like on your car

I have been enjoying the in-dash 6 CD changer.
I guess I had stopped trying to decipher the COMMAND Operators Manual before realizing ...
I will also be looking into the External device Media cables .., none of the cables seemed compatible with our devices. Needs more research.

Not going to be getting tired of what is in the (6) CDC changer any more!

Lol @ CDs.
It has Bluetooth built-in, and I have satellite radio subscription, but you could put a ton of music on an SD card and stick it in, or USB dingle in the console works with stick as well. I also have an old school 160gb Ipod that stays attached in the console.

Not only that, but in the US, Sirius has promos all the time where you can get 6 months for $30. Been doing it for years. You just have to call every 6 months otherwise the price automatically goes way back up to whatever the regular price is. I switch between satellite and bluetooth music where I have Spotify and I just download my playlists so I can use them offline without burning up a data plan. I haven't used the CD player in either car yet.

I got my media interface cable From Amazon. I cant remember the price right off hand but reasonably cheap.
i don’t like that the USB interface cable is in the glove compartment but out of the way. I have two USB flash drives. One for music, one for comedy.
I figure between the AM/FM, almost 200 channels of Sirius XM, 6”six disc cd changer USB and Bluetooth there should be no reason for me to run out of entertainment during road trips.

You record & play back?

Yes I record from CD or Amazon Digital music to the flash drive. Leave flash drive in whatever vehicle I drive regularly. They are both low profile flash drives and both on the same key ring. Just a matter of stopping at a safe area to change out the drives and listen to the new drive for a few hours or SiriusXM. About 90% of my drive is SiriusXM but even with the multiple channels it can get old after a while.

After 4 years I still enjoy the many features I custom ordered into my VIN:
Super gentle controls: electric steering, velvet gas pedal, velvet brakes like no others
Distronic smart cruise control in stop&Go traffic crawl or hwy situations
Blind spot for lane changes, (I turned off "LaneKeepAssist" )
Pre-Safe when I got rear ended at a stop light 2 month ago
smart brakes that automatically adjust braking force every stop
Led headlights light up every reflective traffic signs
active suspensions without the priceless Airmatic
the overall body style looks like no other car
Don't care much about:
flaky ECO defaults back to ON every day
clunky pano-roof repaired once
clunky steering column auto-tilt
smelly engine oil leaks galore
jerky windshield wipers
driver seat with built-in hips torture
standard vinyl or overpriced leather
multiple faults triggered by thin air
crazy KeylessGo unlocks but then Alarm sounds when you get in
auto-trunk lid that hits you on the back of the head
CEL at 900 Miles: welcome to land of high maintenance
priceless can-bus modules with loads of recurrent errors (RearSAM, 4xDoors ControlUnits, KeylessGo, TPM...)
premature AGM batteries replacement
plastic navigation wheel selector
Overall poor build quality with countless issues along many positives.
Great car system architecture but inadequately managed build quality

This thread has come to mind a couple of times as of late and wanted to update my answer. The hill hold feature is possibly my favorite feature on the car. Now that I've gotten in the habit, I use it every time I'm stopped for more than a few seconds. It's a small thing, but it's nice to not have to keep your foot on the brake at every light or slowdown on the slog home or around the city.

Hill Hold is automatic function and holds the car position for a 2-3 second period after you take your foot off the brake pedal. If you touch gas pedal before the time elapse, like normally everyone does, the Hill Hold will immediately disengage. If you don't touch gas pedal it will time out in that 2-3 second delay and car will start rolling if in an incline.
You can test for this next time you stop in an incline. Just wait for 2-3 seconds after you release brake pedal and car will not roll before the said time elapse. At least my 2010 E550 works this way. Have tested many times.

Dang, you're right, good call. I had a chance to try out hill hold this weekend in downtown Seattle and it worked like a charm. Very cool.
