It was cool on the way home from work - I switched on the heated steering wheel and thought ... I love this feature.

Mine is 2010 so it has both the Music Register and six CD changer. My favorite features. Next would be DRL's, auto lights, auto wipers, dual HVAC, Homelink, spare tire, NO stop/start, memory, Bluetooth, built in navigation.

Distronic is great and the full LED with auto high beam. My two favorites

I was driving with Cruise Control the other day .... off and on at higher speeds than Cruise set .... then when taking the foot off the gas - the car went into some % of automatic braking to get back down the speed set. That felt like I was being taken care of.
I also like the speedometer display showing wher the speed is set.

Home link ... on both our cars I have tried several times to program the garage door opener - no luck. Maybe I should try again.
NO stop/start, memory. Could you explain these?

I've always thought the auto tilt down right-side mirror in reverse was pretty spiff... I still use it to complement the rear-view camera.
Actually, the features I like are too numerous to mention. The mirror function is just the first that comes to mind.

To be honest, no particular feature is a favorite, but I've always really liked the overall exterior and interior look of this model. Things just seem to be in the right place.

I have grown fond of the Keyless Go ...
Now I get annoyed when driving the 1999 SL 500, that I need to fish for Key in pocket.

Did you know that when stopped in traffic or at a light - you can tap the brake a couple of times ... HOLD is displayed on the instrument cluster & you are in brake mode till you hit the gas.
Is faster to mash the gas when light turns green - saving the time to shift foot from brake to gas. Probably not intended for that purpose - but it works.

I would love to have a heated steering wheel ...
The feature that I really like is the adaptive lighting on curves. I originally thought this was meh, but this is a feature I wish I had on my other cars too.

Auto lights meaning High / Low beam & Brake lights able to be left on when car shut off? Or more? Maybe I do not fully understand what Auto lights do - please elaborate.

Start/stop feature started in 2014. Basically the car would shut off when you come to a red light and restart once you hit the gas. Can't be shut off permanently plus the aux battery that it uses tends to die early. Not sure what he means by memory, there's lots of memory, memory seats, comand etc.
Anyway, I like keyless go. The power trunk closer is nice too, that's the one people least expect. Parktronic is also fun and having the pano roof lets in lots of light.

I guess I had stopped trying to decipher the COMMAND Operators Manual before realizing that the car can store many CDs worth of songs in a onboard memory called Music Register. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I will also be looking into the External device Media cables .., none of the cables seemed compatible with our devices. Needs more research.

...The Auto high beams were usually part of the bixenons which had headlamp washers in the bumper. You just leave them on by default and it automatically switches to low beams when it detects another car on the road. When it's clear, it automatically switches to high beams. Seems to work pretty well and it does it somewhat slowly so if you're not paying attention, one minute you're driving on low beams and the next you're back at high beams.

I understand now and agree that I am glad to not have Start/Stop. A rental car I had once had that. Had to shut it off every time I got in.

On the auto high beam just make sure the switch is set on Auto and then push the turn signal stalk forward, or away. They come on when you are traveling over 15mph (or thereabouts) and conditions are right.

active multicontour seat with massage + ventilated seats for when that leather's baking in the sun
keyless go is cool but locking it never seems to work on first try

Hands down for me it's the full LED light package ..2nd is the blind spot assist ... If I could choose a option I could live without . That would be the self parking option ..

Oh... and I use the Parktronic in my car almost daily. These sit so low in front, I'm deciding to back into perpendicular parking lot spaces to avoid fish-hooking the front splitter in future.
Parktronic works very well, is easy to learn, and the backup camera also lets me monitor the backing-up process.

I wish I had a heated steering wheel and cooled seats. My favorite features are actually the small touches, like the rearview mirror that goes down automatically when you're reversing, the steering wheel lifting up when you get out, the dimming mirrors, and the ability to drop the rear seats from the back. The kiddo loves those rear-facing seats too
Oddly enough I wish it didn't have a power liftgate though. It takes longer to open and close (and sometimes gets stuck halfway up), and I miss the ability to do a slow test close when the back is full of stuff. Oh yeah, and you have to teach people how to use it. Inevitably they forget the first time after telling them and then I hear that grinding noise as they close it

I must say - that is a very cool feature.
I bet a lot of people have no idea of this feature.

Brake hold is AWESOME! I drive mostly city streets, rarely on the highway. I feel so weird when I drive my wife's car without it. Blind spot warning is a big plus too. I live in FL, so I always have a heated steering wheel, LOL. Oh yeah, and the 396hp / 478tq to al 4 wheels!!! (per dyno).
