2013 e350 Thermostat replacement.
HI all does anyone have a diy or official repair procedure for thermostat replacement on m276.952 engine?
From what i've seen online most videos and tutorials are for older aluminum type not the plastic one.
Anything else I should look at while in there or replace.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you Konigstiger, those were helpful.
Some small notes if anyone needs to tackle this in the future.
Make sure you have a thin wall E-10 socket to get the intake plenum off, I didn't and no one has them in stock around my folks house.
Drain valve for coolant is pointing to the left and not towards the back of the car, not a big deal but if you are not sure what you are looking for some may miss it.
On a side note had a quite a lot of oil in the air intake, what controls crankcase pressure on these engines? PCV valve or something else?

Look on the rear of the passenger side cylinder head - you will see a round thing with a hose going to the throttle body. This is the pcv/oil separator system and if the diaphragm starts to fail, the result is oil being drawn through the throttle body and into the intake. Not a good thing as the oil can coke on the intake swirl flaps, leading to their inability to move and either breaking the actuator rods controlling them or breaking the flaps themselves. See online info about MB intake failures.
Sounds like yours needs replacement, not very difficult to replace, look somewhere like FCP Euro online for complete kit.

Well I looked into the engine bay, and there isnt all that much room to replace the PCV thingy, on earlier models in the videos it shows quite a bit more room.
Has anyone replaced this on the newer 276.952 engine successfully?
im pretty sure mine is toast as oil from intake made it down to the filter, I doubt there should be that much.
