Love it! (Except AMG rims)
46 years old

I bought to have a 2nd car to help split the miles on the commute and fill out our garage. At 20k/year average on my commute, I grew tired of hitting high mileage so quickly, and really love my current VW and don’t want to worry about replacing it anytime soon. Lessen the burden via two allows me to stay out of the car dealerships. I like nice things, but also ready to shake of the debt. We have the family hauler SUV (2013 Highlander), toy/fun (2015 GTI), and classy cruiser (MB).

I spent a lot of time researching what to get, with focus on what would still look appealing to me many years down the road. I found that noticed the previous versions of the E series the most at traffic lights. Older BMW’s just looked like old BMW’s to me. Audi the same way. But the MB’s still looked fresh and appealing and current. Personally, I thought the 1998 era style was and still is one of the classiest cars ever, and when I see a well maintained E from that era, I drool over it. This W212 I believe will age to be the same in my eyes, which is why I had to have one myself. I want this thing for at least 10 years if not more, and willing to fix/maintain to get it there (within reason though of course - flux-capacitor goes out then I’m going back to the Delorean)..

Car model and year - 2013 E350 4Matic Wagon
Owner age - me 44 years old
Car owned for - 6 Years 5 months so far (bought April 2013)
Mileage at purchase - was 2 miles
Current mileage - 38,893 miles
Miles driven since purchase - 38,891 miles
Average mile per year of ownership = 6,000 miles / year

I work from home so the car is only really used for weekend trips or long road trips. Will be sad to see it go in a few months. Been the most reliable, efficient, and comfortable car I've owned in 28 years of driving.
