Let us know how you fare and I'll do the same
I would invite you to take a look at our windshield rain repellent, Vision Protect. This hydrophobic coating will last up to two years on the windshield and five on the side glass. Unlike other products, you do not need to revitalize the coating. Tested up to 500,000 wiper cycles, UV resistant, inorganic hard coating. Vision Protect is easy to apply and is a nanotechnology. Never any wiper chatter.
Thanks,
John

Very thin coat.
Buff clear with microfiber towel.
Don't get any on plastic or rubber!

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Tried Scotty's snake oil solution, as usual it didn't work. I don't know about the other company advertising here, haven't tried theirs.
The current MB wipers have been on since last fall, they've been through a very cold winter in MO and since January the car has been sitting outside in mid TX. They still work fine, no squeaks or streaks. My windshield is very run down, there's a lot of pitting and 3 rock chips so it would eat the wipers faster. These are holding up ok so far. Got a good deal on them on mboem, I think it was around 54$. They usually go for 45$ each but they're worth it. They even have a little dot that changes color when it's time for replacement.
Another option would be Valeo, but I haven't tried those yet. Definitely stay away from Bosch, they are crap.
I'm using OEM wipers (FCP's warranty FTW!) and installed these maybe 5 months ago. I've had mixed luck with Bosch in the past so they won't be my first choice but they won't be out of the running either. I guess I'll start trying different brands and see how it goes.I wonder if the wiper arm springs are losing their tension.
