I've used this for years: . it works great, door won't unlock even if I put the bag up to the door handle. Works for my cellphone too.

 

the double tap works on my 2016.... the battery light does a short blink then a double blink as an acknowlegement. owners manual says you need to be out of range of the car when you lock the fob.

 

Ah, this product is a new one. It may have some merit, as the weak spot to all these solutions is the seal. It appears this bag may have a better seal, not to mention adequate internal space to accomodate more practical key sets (more than just the fob, only).

It's quite expensive for what it is, though. Much more expensive than an imaginative and fun trip to the local resellit shop.

Possibly true. But, IMO, this thread is as much about learning new things, as buying anything.

I make it a goal to learn something new every day, and it usually costs me nothing.
