Squeaky Front Seat

Hi. I own a 2014 E350 4MATIC and the front driver seat has begun to squeak when you shake side to side, or when you get into the and sit down. Any way to fix this with lube? Thanks.

they are not mb Tex seats

Seat belt buckle may be rubbing, if so line with felt.

placed a paper towel to see if it would resolve the issue and hasn’t. But the sound is coming from that area. I f I move the back area of the seat the squeak is from the seat belt area.

where am I suppose to put felt?

I’ve also noticed when raising the lower front the seat. There is a point where an audible squeak occurs. Really not sure what this is now. In certain seating positions, you won’t hear anything but you can still hear a creak when getting up from the seat, and in some positions, it happens when you shake side to side and when exiting the car. Here’s the vid I took

Any potential run points.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I'm having the same problem as the op. I have a 2014 e550 coupe. When I go over bumps or lean back, it sounds like it's coming from inside the seat. Did anyone find a way to fix this with lube or any other remedies? Thanks so much!

Mine squeaks when sitting down or getting out of the seat, and Ive narrowed it down to the lower bracketry or in the lower cushion itself. Ive tried silicone lube on various components but nothing has changed. Has nothing to do with the seat belt buckle. Wondering if anyone has this same squeak?

EDIT: Source of squeak was the large spring under front right of seat that attaches to the seat brackets. I moved it over slightly (back to its original spot) and all is well.

Just move the seat forward slightly, and then try again. I had the same issue after vacuuming my car, and when I accidentally pushed one of the memory positions not sure which one, but it moved the seat into a position where it made that squeak and creaks. It's all good now, thought i was going to have to buy all new seats. Those seats are on thin ice with me, I'm looking for any reason to change them.

Try moving the seat forward. It's the path you must attempt not too much now just a touch and the try.
