They suggest 30psi front / 32psi rear for most w212 models with 245/45/17 tyres..... Will you follow these tyre pressures suggestions?

What your fuel door sticker says?
I run 40 psi in the rear, but US models are usually heavier with extra gadgets than other country models.

The fuel door sticker suggests 38/38 psi which is much higher than 30/32.
However, for facelifted w212 the suggested tyre pressures are much lower which is about 31/31!
All figures are talking about not fully loaded vehicles.

The labels are about the same when you compare light load.
But you need to adjust it for heavy load.
Why do you trust internet hotshots more than MB engineers?

You are right, that's why l asked, l don't 100% trust internet.
So could any facelifted w212 owners show us their fuel door stickers, telling us the above photo is correct?

Actually I'm looking for the lowest safe tyre pressure, because l want to maximize the riding comfort, before l got the suspension changed.

MB Engineers go by the only German tire maker they use, continental. Every tire maker and style they make has their own minimum tire pressure. Depending on the side wall stiffness that very sporty tires have high the pressure needs to be higher than what the car sticker says. If you run too low pressure you will make the tire fail at outer edges not for wear but for internal failure of the rubber. This is the same reason why Run Flat tires have very short 50 miles or so driving distance as without air they will have side walls separate if run too long. Stiff wall sporty tires do the same if run at too low pressure for too long.

Any tire I mount under my car I run at 37 psi minimum while the sticker says 32 psi.

If MB really suggests facelifted w212 to have 30/32 psi for not fully loaded situation l will probably follow it and see what will be the damage to the tyres, hopefully not of coz.

I just measured the tread wear on my tires yesterday, to compare with the values I measured in March 2018. Today, my front tires measure 9/32 across all four grooves, which is ZERO wear in 18 months and 9.000 miles of use. The tires are Continental ContiProContact, 245/40 R18 97V. I inflate them to 40-42psi cold. If I followed the fuel flap, they would be worn down to 5/32 at least.

Texas roads are paved like all others, but are generally smooth, probably because they don't see the seasonal expansion/contraction effects that northern climes deal with. At the higher pressures, I notice no difference in ride. In this case, it's nice to know I'm an internet hotshot.

My 3 week old (to me) 2016 E350 wagon has the same type and size tires and the sticker indicates 35 front and 48 rear. This is a CPO so it has factory setup and it is not staggered. I cannot help wandering what the opinions and thoughts are for this, or even longer term owner experiences.

Like DFWDude I have 245/40 R18 tires (though mine are Pirellis, not Continentals). I usually inflate to 39/40 cold.

your pressures arr not bad. For the front could be a couple psi higher. For rear the 48 psi is probably for full load. Personally I would lower it some unless you have load often.

Agreed. I have run the same 37 psi on my E350 and have only bought 1 set of 18" tires with no unusual wear.

Same ContiProContact as the Dude. I run 40psi all around. Ride is compliant and mpg is very good at that pressure. No odd tire wear ever.

Same. For me, 37psi cold results in 40psi at all four corners once hot.
