Car idling Poorly (Video Included)
Hi all,
I currently own a 2010 E63 AMG and it's idling poorly. The rev limiter is fluctuating as you can see in the YouTube video below. The car has about 75,000 miles on it and a full aftermarket warranty along with no check engine light. Car pulls hard and nothing else seems wrong.
I wanted to know if anyone has ever experience this and could point me in the right direction.
My guess would be sparks plugs, ignition coil, o2 sensor.

Significantly less miles, but I had such an issue with my old CLK430. After being charged $150 for an hour of labor at the dealer they basically knew nothing because it was not making any error codes and there are no real "mechanics" left, only computer reading tech monkeys. They threw out a guess to replace the entire exhaust system with new 02 sensors to the tune of over $3K. I think this was a "go away with your old car" estimate, but they were completely wrong. After many steps and troubleshooting, I ended up tearing apart the intake manifold and cleaning all the carbon out of it which settled the idle. I doubt that's your issue, but things I looked into were: MAF dirty? Cracked vacuum line? bad intake gasket (post MAF)? Removed and tested all the injectors after replacing spark plugs and swapping around wires to no avail, no codes.
One step would be to watch your 02 sensor readings and airflow readings on a decent OBD2 device. I used the Torque free app with $10 bluetooth OBD2 reader. You can put up graphs of these numbers. The 02 sensors should show an up and down wave for the pre-cat sensors, and a steady line for the post-cat sensors. This is how I knew the O2 sensors and cats in the exhaust were just fine. If the dealer techs were worth anything they would have used 10 minutes of that hour I paid for to look at this.

What does that mean TeeEl?
Alright, so I believe the problem has been found. Any recommendations on where to buy a replacement part? Do I have to order the whole intake manifold?
