Can oil be measured electronically?
My C-Class W203 has a nifty "secret sauce" method (Dyno mode) to measure the oil in the sump electronically. The W211 has this feature as well. This measured to the tenth of quart.
I've searched extensively here. Has anyone discovered how to do this in the W212?
f I could remember how to enter Engineering mode to get to battery voltage, I would play around to see if I could measure oil, too.
Can we please review the push button process(es) on the W212 to call up various sub menus, please?

MB start using oil level sensors about 1986, when in 1996 they come equipped with scale who you could read on the cluster.
At the same time MB made climatronic displays who could display sensor readings and some AC codes on them, eliminating need for scanners. They also had REST function, who would keep the cabin warm for 1/2 hr after engine shut down.
Yet all those things slowly vanished from newer cars.
When some features could be safety measures, abused by uneducated owners, some looks like push for spending more money at the dealers.
Like "famous" SCN coding.

OK, I now remember "Dealer" mode is #7 +#9 + Red Hang-up Button on central keypad.
What is the (Facelift W212) button combo to call up battery voltage on the MFD? I know I've read it here somewhere.

The procedure in the link I noted in Post #5 does not work in my 2016 W212.

I don't think you'll be able to see oil levels even in dyno mode on the W212. This was a feature on the cars that had the electronic check in the dash - my W203 had this.
