Engine Mount OE supplier

Hi All,

Anyone now who is OE supplier of engine mounts for E350 2010 4 matic? Some people say Corteco, while there are some forums who say Lemforder. I/m so confused, I just want to buy a genuine quality part without paying premium for the star logo on the part and MB packaging.

any comment is appreciated....

I believe FCPeuro sells both and I think it was in one thread where they said they looked at both the OEM MB one and Corteco and said they were the same. Probably why you can get the Corteco one or the MB one on their website, but not the Lemfoder although they are also OEM for some other MB parts. If you get it from FCPeuro, they have a lifetime warranty so you won't have to pay for them again, although changing the mount is not easy.

Thanks guys. seems there is no definite answer to this question, but I contacted FCPeuro and they told me it's corteco, so I'll probably go with Corteco. I am just not sure what there are some mixed reviews about Corteco and in general reviews of Lemforder are better.

Well in general the motor mounts don't last that long. But I think that's just the nature of liquid filled motor mounts. Solid rubber would probably last longer but probably wouldn't be as good. It's the price you have to pay for a smooth quiet ride. I think there are also complaints that some aftermarket ones are even worse.

I think I remember a complaint about corteco trans mounts. I bought mine at the dealer. To me given the labor involved replacing them on a 4matic I didn't want to take any chances.

The transmission mount is really easy, less than 20 minutes tops. It's the motor mount that's hard.

Is it labor intensive to replace engine mounts on the M276 cars with RWD? I haven't replaced any engine mounts since a W203 and that did not cost much.

I am well aware of that. My point first point was the Corteco was reportedly of poor quality for the transmission mount which makes it suspect for the motor mount so I wouldn't take a chance on not getting the right part for the motor mounts given the labor involved. Just had mine replaced.
