Pcv valve location
Were you able to change it? I have a problem and I think it might be related. I found oil in the intake tube.

Also, I spoke to a friend that works at MB he said to replace the hose while you're doing it. I am changing spark plugs and I think I might just do this job. Then he said make your you use some kind of solvent to clean those valves.

I had to replace a braded line hose on the suction side bec the hose was collapsing. To fix that replace it with Braded oil certified hose. Its 3/4 inner diameter on both sides At an 45 degree coupler
One thing that confuses me, I believe the OEM created a catch can. If you look under the elbow there is a container for oil to drip in.

I will be installing a baffled Catch can: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-4-Barb-0-...1185b742aea3de
Also, check out the pics from the intake removal. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...00k-miles.html

Everybody's vacuumPp is pumpin' oil ie. don't be alarmed!
MB designs borderline chaos to be managed or repaired. Just need to find a way...
Turbo guys get their wastegate filled up.
I don't exactly know yet...
- how to prevent that ??
- oil is pumped by engine inside the pump for its lubrication and help dynamic seal.
- There's a overflow hole used as vent that must be the oil max level.
-- A lower hole may help dump oil ... MS! need to study relation to vacuum port.
-- Crankcase pressure counter acts the pump output... so low/moderate blow-by and good PCV are necessary.

Performance requirements are modest :
-- Pumping down vacuum is a slow process unlike pumping fuel.
-- Vacuum storage is helped by check valves and is seldom consumed.
-- Small intake flap actuators don't switch back and forth a lot, brake booster is sized well.

Thank you for the help you provide on this forum. I would be lost without it.

Wow, the high pressure fuel pump needs to be removed!
This will indeed be a pain in the neck.
The reason I’m doing this work on my 2013 GLK350 with 110k miles is there is oil in the airbox and a little sucking when I remove the engine oil filler cap with the engine running.
Thank you for the help you provide on this forum. I would be lost without it.
Replace at least fuel pump roller and seriously consider the HPFP pump itself. After 100kMi it's now overdue.
