I ended finding the same style of S class wheel and the offset is perfect. I have E550 RWD still on Airmatic. I downsized the side wall the same as you and they fit perfectly. Ride quality didn't change much in my opinion. It does however feel a bit more sluggish and bottom heavy vs when it was on the factory 18" AMG wheels and fuel economy suffered about a 1-2 mpg hit.
