hellooo. i have the same car w212 with the same year 2016. i did the same conversion but i don't know. the lights seem dim. i just want to make sure, did you face any issue regarding your headlights being dim. or they are just like that. my setup is done correctly and i have the original 640 ILS headlights. just the beam pattern is opposite for what is supported in my country. but the light output seem very dim. please i would like to hear from you. attached are pictures for reference.
My lighting was plenty bright. Have you driven at night with them or are you basing your observations on the view in your garage?
Hi, yes i did drive with them at night. In lebanon nearly all the roads are dark, yet the light output is very poor. Is there anything to do with the wattage? Or this is the output

Your best bet is to have your mechanic check. The lights should not be dim, and the issue could be anything: a faulty regulator, bad wiring connection, etc. Impossible to determine without a diagnostic and physical inspection. I hope you figure it out and keep us posted.

Helloo again. I spoke to my mechanic, he said that regarding the light output and stuff. It could be 2 possible issues
1- the headlights are aimed too high (in the garage the lights seem bright but does not seem like so in the road)
2- the light and rain sensor. To be particular, in my car, the sensor needs to be replaced. So it might be fooling the car to reduce light output because of road lights.
If anyone can help me, please send a guide / picture to the correct hight for the aim of the headlights. Like park the car facing a wall. And picture the beam + the distance from the ground to the beam & from the wall to the car. Thanks in advance.
My current beam pattern: Like i said. The beam is aimed by me. The beam is opposite to my country driving. That is why it is mirrored. I dont know how much it should be aimed from the ground to the head of the beam.

The aiming is quite mixed, you should try to aim correctly - there are 2 screws on each headlight.
So if headlights is not UK or Japan Left hand driving:
1 - aiming
2 - QR codes from headlight stickers need to be written with Xentry into the headlight ECU
I got it working - it was done via Mercedes Engineering Software and @emre952 worked complete magic. On top of that, I was able to get my local Mercedes dealership provide me wiring diagrams for added ground and power leads for the updated lighting.
