So good luck with 19"

I lived in the NE for 6 1/2 years. Those roads during and after the winters make our roads here in LA look great.

I figured I’ll update.

with a recession all but certain, I decided to back out on this purchase. The dealership was lagging on completing the car for delivery which gave me the time to really think it over. I know that cash is king during a time like this and felt the money is better saved since it was a cash purchase.

i dm appreciate everyone’s help throughout. It’s a real bummer that I won’t be getting this car. I was dreaming about it the last two weeks. But having 25k extra in cash to jump into the market when this bottoms out, is a wiser move than having a V8TT and being laid off. Which are two very potential outcomes due to this damn virus

We sure run into different times.
I am communism collapse survivor, Chernobyl radiation survivor, survived 2008 economy collapse in USA and now Coronavirus. What else can I expect?
When on 1 hand you made educational decision, car purchase is more fun and luxury than economics. With lot of states asking people to stay home, you'd have more time to detail the car.
We walk our dogs every day on desert, or on the streets and this week we are surprised how many new people discovered walking in the neighborhood.

No but not that one

That year and models definitely not too old to purchase- just maybe not that exact one. Id say keep looking, that v8 in the same shell is wondrous, and not as costly as the AMGs.

that’s a lot to go through that’s for sure.

Let’s hope the proposed stimulus package has the intended effect. I hope they aren’t rushing this without fully realizing the long term impacts of pulling a trillion out from the govt...wonder how it’ll be paid for ultimately...

yeah. Unfortunately I think the ship has sailed on a w213 2014 E550. It’s unlikely I’ll find another woth mileage this low and I only buy cars I can keep for 5 years minimum. With my amount of driving, it'll have to be 25k miles or less.

if this dealer had acted with more urgency on having the car reconditioned, it would’ve been too late to back out since i would’ve had the car already. I took it as a sign. Especially with my sincere belief that tough economic times lie ahead.

MB E550
2014 E550

Hi. I own a 2014 E550 with 85K kilometres. It runs like a champ. Price sounds ok to me.
