As of 2:10pm EST, just went for a 50 mile round trip and the unit appears to be working properly. Sun spots? Global gremlins? IDK but will re-post if this annoying little issue reappears.

I called my dealer, with which I had made an appointment for next Monday for my screwy Comand system, to tell him about the reports on this thread. He said since my call this morning he had gotten others with similar symptoms, but has heard nothing from MBUSA about the problem or fixes. He did mention that a SiriusXM download crashed a number of car systems a few years ago. I'll see what happens between now and Monday to decide whether to keep my appointment.

Command System Resets Every 3-5 minutes
I think the problem is related to the daylight savings time change. I had a similar issue last fall in my Chrysler Pacifica. In my 212 ML350 the problem started when I reset the time. Yesterday afternoon I turned off daylight saving function in the time settings and set the clock back to standard time. The problem went away. Maybe just a coincidence. Could be something was changed externally in either the GPS or Sirius Sat software.
Anyway worked all the way into work this morning.

I had a new battery installed on March 9th and on the 10th I started to get the same thing. I thought it was related to the new battery, but I guess it wasn't. Mine stopped on March 11th, so I guess an update fixed it.
