Binding Parking Brake Pedal
If your parking brake does not release all the way, watch this video. Some shops will try to sell you a new pedal mechanism or brake cables for big bucks. All you need is some good information and some WD40.

Based on the non-sport e-brake pedal on the car in the video, this car has already had the mechanism replaced. Same thing happened to me - mine was replaced but not with the correct sport pedal cover. Had to do that myself.

Thanks for posting. I have that very issue on my E350. This fix is so easy, I'll be doing it myself this week. Only difference will be I won't be so sloppy with the grease and WD-40.

I have a 2014 E350 that had the same problem but only in the winter when the grease would harden up. My extended warranty paid to have the new mechanism installed. Not a bit of trouble since.

It worked. And it only takes a few minutes. I opted to use SylGlide for the grease. The brake pops right up when released now. And I didn't have to waste money or natural resources on a new park brake pedal mechanism, that was unnecessary.
