Hi! so we just bought a w212 (E250) pre facelift 2009 model. Now this may be a childish question but please bear with me. So i wanted to know the full extent of features in this car. That being some features (optional) like the lane change assist, the blind spot assist and so on. How to find out which ones are in my car and which ones are not? I also did use the VIN number on the MBdata website to get some details but i wasnt really able to understand it that well, as it, i guess names and gave the numbers of the parts in the car. IS there any other way?

Normally I'd like to link the brochure and options list on a few other websites, but those refer to the US models and I don't think you're in the US as we never got an E200.

Sad, probably why we were able to get a good price on it. So is it possible to mod the car to get some, of these? Officially or unofficially?

 

You got a good price on it because it is a 10+ year-old car (2009). Drive the car and enjoy it. Only you know what features it has, and your friends only know it's a Mercedes. That's why you bought it, right?

As for retrofitting desired features, I'd forget about that. Usually too expensive, even for an MB only 3-5 years old.

 

Yeah that is why we bought it 😂. Yes maybe that is the logical thing to do, but on another side note I need to buy button stickers for the car, you know the window buttons and what not, they have been chipped off and I haven't been able to find a sticker set online from anywhere.

That's what I think aswell, probably the only thing fully option are the headlights.

 

You didn't post the full options list. There's a bunch more between 300 and 800. Or just post the VIN. You have some options like parking guidance and the side blinds in the rear doors.

I don't think they sell stickers for the window buttons, that stuff is usually just the entire assembly.

There's a link in the thread that shows alloy switch covers for both the seat position and window switches, from Amazon. Don't know if they ship overseas.
