C class Vin WDDGF8AB0EG210145
As for that C class, it's pretty basic, missing lots of stuff that the E class doesn't have. E class has collision warning with auto braking, dynamic LED headlights which mean they swivel on curves and comes with auto high beams, keyless go, and power trunk closer.
I've been offered that 2k tire warranty, I always figured it wasn't worth it. Fixing a bent rim is $115 around here. I've had some crack rims which would cost around $160 to repair but that was on the W211 where the rims were $145 each so it was cheaper just to replace the rims. On the W212, the rims are in the $250 range. I get tires at Costco which come with a road hazard warranty for 5 years so no worries about flat tires. You'd have to bend/crack a lot of rims to make the 2k worth while. Usually that warranty is for something like 3-4 years so a set of new tires is around $800 installed, a few rims in that time frame, cheaper to just hold onto the money.

We've talked before on the W204 forum - so you know I owned a 2014 C350 before with pretty much every option other than driver assistance. This car uses the same powertrain as the 2014 E350 you're negotiating on.
If you can swing the $4000, get the E. They are not the same car - the interior on the W212 is quite a bit nicer than even the best W204. I don't think $18,000 is that far off for a well kept, well optioned 2014. Don't let it be about space, either. The E does have more space, but due to packaging efficiency of these RWD cars even a Toyota Corolla will have more rear legroom than the W212.

Well I bought the E350. Rode he with no prolems. It's the exterior color I wanted and the light colored interior that's real leather. As I said plugs were changed 5,000 miles ago. Only thing it needs is pads all way around and rotors rear. I should be able to do that brake job myself. Next would be tranny fluid flush and fill. Is there a how to for a 2014? Also trying to get used to the car shutting off at stop them going again when I release brake. Lol

Many people hated the start/stop feature when it first came out. Some people went to great lengths to get it disabled, but probably not really worth the costs.

No but just going to do it. Any recommendations for pads and rotors? Also how do you get this thing working 258 COLLIS.WARN. SYS. W/ ACTIVE BRAKE INTERV. FCW STOP

I've just gotten the Zimmerman rotors for the front and the Akebono pads. No dust on the Akebono, OEM has lots of dust although braking is a little better with OEM than Akebono but it's not that noticeable. Lifetime warranty at FCPEuro means no more buying front brakes. Also the front and rear have brake wear sensors which trigger a warning on the dash at about 25% brake pad life left. If the sensor isn't worn out, you can just reuse them but normally when you get a set of front pads, it comes with the sensors anyway. On the rears and once on the fronts, I've gotten away with just putting pads on it and not replacing the rotors. Just need to measure them.

Also that is Collision Prevention Assist. The idea is that you don't want it to have to work.

If you don't have noises or vibrations, I would just save money and wait until the car tells you it is time.
