2014 E350 Sedan Amplifier Location
Hello all,
Wondering if anyone would know the location of the amp in a 2014 E350 4Matic Sedan. I have checked the trunk driver side area to no avail. I will say this car only has the base audio package with door speakers and no sub in the rear deck. Thanks for any help.

Just read your thread. Have you got your answer? If your car equip with an Amplifier, its location should be on the left side of the trunk, driver side, It lays as vertical position after the rear lamp access cover removal. I can take a picture and forward to you If you could not locate it.

2014 E350 4Matic Sedan
Hi...I own a 2014 E350 4Matic sedan with the HK Logic7 audio system, and I was wondering if you could post that pic of the stereo amp location. I am wanting to replace the amp and speakers in the car, as the old system is shot. I intend to use an Audio Control D-6.1200 DSP amp, but unsure of factory amp location. Any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks

Hi...I own a 2014 E350 4Matic sedan with the HK Logic7 audio system, and I was wondering if you could post that pic of the stereo amp location. the connection from the COMAND main stereo/radio/etc module to the Mercedes HK7 amplifier is "MOST", a proprietary fiber optic digital connection. Thats not going to work with that Audio Control amplifier unless someone makes a specific adapter for this purpose to convert MOST to your discrete analog input amplifier, I've not heard of any such.
Also, the stock HK7 system, the amplifier is equalizing the 12 or 14 speakers for best balanced sound. Not sure how you will drive that many speakers from an amplifier that has max 6 channels. For example, each front door has 3 speakers, a woofer, a mid, and a tweeter mounted up high on the mirror triangle. There's also a separate di9gital input for the 'telematics' voice output (for instance, the audio from the voice activated features of the COMAND), this is directed to the center channel, ditto telephone calls.

HELP ME LOCATING AMPLIFIER
I haver mercedes E250 W212 2013 Facelift Sedan. Some speakers are crackling so I wanna check the amp but I cannot locate it in the trunk it’s not there where else can it be? And how many amplifiers in total are there in my car?

E250 wasn't sold in the US so probably is equipped differently than US models... for example, which sound system do you have? ours all got the Harman Kardan Logic7 system with like 12 or 15 speakers. On these the head unit in the dash feeds the amp with a fiber optic MOST signal, and this amp runs all the speakers except the subwoofer, which has its own small amp, until 2016 when they went to a single amp for all speakers plus sub. I believe these amps are behind the trunk side panel on the right side of the car, somewhere not far from the rear SAM (power distribution module). The amps I've seen are silver, and have a label that says HARMAN-BECKER (or is it BECKER-HARMAN? I forget).

My 2014 E250 has the main amp in the location listed by konigstiger, the sub amp is mounted on bottom of the sub basically. Did you pull access cover to get behind the paneling?
