Full ILS activated in my W212

the 212 headlights have maybe 24 segments on a side
edit: I just tried to take an up close pic of the light on our 2016, but its way too bright even in daylight. but careful examination of the pattern projected just an inch or two in front of the lens, it looks like its just two big ones in each main beam, and there's just one square in the inner separate projector.

2014 E550
I have a 2014 E550 with the LED ILS and I want to activate the full ILS. Where do I get the coder? I see in this thread everyone mentions Vladimir, but how can I get a hold of him? or where do I order his product?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I had it done with RJ (rjautomotive.net)

Vladimir was selling coding dongles on ebay, but I can't seem to find him now.

oh, btw, it turns out the facelift W212's don't actually HAVE full ILS even in europe, thats purely a W213 feature... different headlights. The 212 LED headlights can be aimed and they can do split highbeam (low on the left for oncoming traffic, high on the right), but only the 213's have the matrix ILS lights where they can do the 'punchouts' to put a shadow around specific vehicles.
and I did find vladimir's store, he goes by vladimircdi on ebay, https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sac...ecificSeller=1

afaik, BenzNinja requires you to already have an xentry style setup on your own laptop that he can remote access to manipulate your car. they charge a flat subscription rate for all you can eat.
The vladamir etc approach involves an ODBC dongle they ship you that you plug in and it does the mods packaged on it. I used vlad for Android Auto on my 2016 and am totally happy with the result.

When I signed up, it was a flat fee for a lifetime of everything. Now apparently he'll just read codes for you, and you have to pay ala-cart for every single little mod.

ILS with no adaptive headlight assist
Hi guys,
saw this thread and I thought that some of you could help me resolve my long lasting dilemma. Namely I have a 2013 W212 (facelift version) with an ILS system (EU vehicle). Everything is OEM (I am the first and only owner). The car has an LED ILS system with all cornering lights, motorway mode, fog lights, etc. but no high beam assist. When I turn the lights to Auto mode and push back the lever for high beams the high beams are on but there is no sign of “A” on the dash display. The lights are not dipping when ongoing traffic approaches. I even checked the windshield sensor area and I have no cameras over there. Only one small sensor (I assume it is the auto wipers sensor). My question is “is it possible that MB has sold cars with the ILS but without the high beam assist”?
thanks in advance.

If you want to check, you need to make sure that your car has option code 608 and 640. If it doesn't, your car doesn't have it.

If while coding the ILS-plus, you run into error codes, reset them, but they won't stay gone, my understanding is ILS-plus coding can't be completed until those issues are rectified. Has anyone run into these? Supposedly it's only on the left headlamp ECU, and planning to see what my mechanic can do, but wondering in the meantime - the ILS on my 2014 W212 is working fine otherwise:

When I did the ILS conversation on my W212 (I didn't do the full ILS coding because I didn't have the front cameras), I ran across a similar problem. Lights were working but the error codes would not go away.
My limited diagnostic skills revealed a problem with the ECU but once a pro looked into it, he found the real issue was the voltage regulator. As soon as I replaced the voltage regulators, the issue was resolved and he completed the coding.

It's been a while and I sourced everything in a piecemeal fashion but all said and done, I think it was in the neighborhood of around $3,500. Coding was around $100 per session but I was charged less for the diagnosis sessions - I don't remember how much.
This was a few years ago so prices have probably changed - I hope they have dropped. Here's the link to my retrofit thread.
Hope it helps.

i had a ground fault error appear in the left headlight motor and also a communication fault. Would go away if I restarted the car.
in a few other areas people had recommended servicing the grounding posts. I have also seen a post about resoldering a specific area in the camera and/or replacing the camera control board. I haven’t done either of these but would be keen to fix it… do any of those fixes register…?
