I watched this video a while back and was really hoping for some interesting commentary about what makes W212 unique and/or special compared to other MB models. Instead it’s just 20 minutes of listing features. Very boring...
It appears he has a 2014.. those wheels are correct. I know the ones you are talking about (and I have them) but those were very much still around on the 14s.

I think the most likely scenario here is that the brochure was wrong. The top photo I posted above is a press photo. The car was provided to the automotive magazine wearing these wheels. These wheels are extremely common on 2014 model W212s. These are not all somehow "dealer swaps". But here are some more for sale, as well as more photos from press shoots where the cars are still registered to Benz.

Sorry dude.. the 2014s came with these wheels. Past that, I don't think so.. but they are extremely common in 2014 which the guy in the video has. You can google this yourself.
If you see the AMG wheel option for either model build they are different. 2013 builds have 795, 2014 builds have 660.
I think Mercedes as I have seen in the past did not have the wheel ready on release date and allowed the old wheel to go with the facelift car initially, then started putting them on later 2014's as they became available.
