All, my new to me 2016 E has this option. What does suspension for sport mean, (677)?
Aside from being lowered, are there any real handling parts?
TIA

Lower and firmer spring/shocks combination compared to the "Luxury" version is my best guess. This is how it is with the w204 C Class I had.

There has been extensive confusion and discussion on this issue. See here.
The short consensus is as follows:
There are two kinds of appearance for post-facelift W212, the Luxury with the flying star or the Sport (321 package) with star on the grille. Luxury models have the highest ride height with suspension code 485. There is ongoing discussion as to whether 485 also includes softer shocks, but they do have unique MB part numbers.
The Sport 321 package includes the 677 suspension, which is lowered about 15mm compared to 485 and might have slightly firmer shocks. This is the most common suspension option and is present on nearly all North American W212s.
486 suspension is a true sport suspension with firmer shocks than 485 or 677. It is either exceptionally rare or never came to the US at all. It is not mentioned in the 2014-16 dealer order guides. If any forum member has a build sheet for a North American market W212 with 486 I would be very interested to see it.

l believe MB wanted to clear old stocks before releasing W205 , they put a lot of AMG stuff to Avantgarde models without rising the price.
Don't know if this also happens in the US.

Can't agree more. The first month with my w204 was so much fun..... but l ended up with moderate spinal disc hernination at several positions of my back, that's why l sold it and got a w212 Avantgarde, and now with 485 springs and 16" wheels l survived.
