New to me E Class!!
2014 E550 to go with wife's S212. Big difference in power especially in the mid range. No Airmatic, so not as smooth over the rough stuff as the wagon. Nut Brown leather and black interior. Haven't seen that ever on a W212. Standard sunroof which is fine by me. Never use them anyways. Only 53k on her. Love this chassis! All dealer serviced, new tires, and babied. Only plans are a good ceramic tint and possibly a Renntech tune and carbon fiber spoiler.

Nice!
Congratulations.
After hearing many stories of issues with Airmatic once it ages, I personally would not want one to begin with. But it is always a personal preference. Given that you already have Airmatic in your S212, you opinion could be very different.
Enjoy your ride!

Plans with it are a high quality ceramic tint, a full professional detail, and maybe a tune. To me driving this car while it is much faster than the M276, it seems held back. Almost as if it needed to be freed form its restraints.
Not to scare you but check out the "p0305 help" thread on this forum. There seems to be a few reports of bad valve seats on the M278's that can be very costly. Figured I'd throw that out there since you mentioned "tune" in the future. Although with yours being a 2014, this may not apply.

It does NOT have Parktronic or Distronic. Does have lighting package and Keyless Go package. Has lane keep assist, BLIS and all the other normal options like Harmon Kardon, and leather interior. But the main reason I got this car is its the only year the facelifted W212 got the 4.7 Twin Turbo V8!!
Nice find! Congrats! These W212’s are very reliable as well. First real issue popped up on my 2012 just yesterday and it was the radiator fan unit that needed to be replaced. $450 fix. Great chassis the W212 is. Enjoy your E550 for many miles

The light does look like the US market standard LED instead of optional full adaptive LED.
I really wished Mercedes had put the 4.7 V8 in the wagon.

I stand corrected on the lighting package. No biggie. What drew me in was the service history, relative low miles, and the interior color. Goes without saying that I really enjoy the rarity of this total sleeper. Boy this thing pulls!! Seems about on par with my previous tuned B8 S4, but more top end. I will probably end up tuning it, like I have done with the S4 and my F150 EcoBoost.

We dont have this I-WANT-THAT-ENGINE version in my market for facelift one.
