As the title say I have an O2 sensor DTC, and I think is the bottom passenger side.

Thinking of tackling this, but not sure if a lift is required for all 4 sensors.

Done 02 sensors before on other cars, but don't want to bite more than I can chew.

How accessible is this?

the sensors are accessible, it's the connectors that are a pain. All 4 connectors are attached to metal brackets at the top of the transmission housing. I used a lift...it MIGHT be doable without one, but I don't think I'd want to.

Ok thanks, I have slippery hands. Let see if I can reach them.

Got all 4 bosch with the removal tool tax and next day shipping for $200.

That's good to know. I thought I read that accessing the front O2 sensors required dropping the exhaust or raising the engine

Don't get me wrong, I don't know if they can be removed with the exhaust on the car, I removed mine to do the job, but I was installing downpipes. You MIGHT be able to get them out with the exhaust in place, but it WILL be a challenge if you can. Sorry, was not my intention to give you false hope...

Did you have to shift the engine mounts to take your downpipes out?

No, not at all. Also a word of caution. If you do pull the downpipes, make sure you use only hand tools on the collector bolts. I used a 3/8" impact and damaged the nuts, that are pressed into the bridge pipes, and Mercedes doesn't make a proper sized replacement so they suggest you replace the bridge pipes. I used and older, copper "square-nut" and modified them so they would stay in place. It was a pain.

Yeah, got big Bertha (pry bar) to assist me in loosening everything up.

Thanks for the heads up.
