2016 E350 Sport Sedan

Hi everyone!

I have a black 2016 e350 sport sedan, limo tint windows front and back and the currently stock chrome rims.... What type of rims look good on this car/what color? What other things can I do to make it look dope?

First, find Vlad. Send him your vin to see if your car supports ILS. Pay him. Install ILS. Have the coolest feature ever invented, aside from adaptive cruise.
cheers

OP has standard LED lights, like mine. The ILS mod will not work on these.

The terms "dope" and "Mercedes-Benz" do not go together.

dope meaning: 1. marijuana, or, more generally, any type of illegal drug: 2. a silly person

Mercedes-Benz would prefer to think that "dopes" don't buy their cars. That said, do some reading/searching for some minor/mild - and tasteful - mods you can make that don't look dope.

Next you know, we'll have hopping low-riders over-running this forum. No, wait...

Well, now you've heard from the three old guys on this forum, in our day dope stood for a stupid person or Marijauna, my young nephew explains these terms to me so I can keep up. all kinds of mods are doable, grills, wheels ride height, exhaust, etc, if you look though the forum some of the younger guys hav done some very cool mods that look DOPE!!!!!

Disclaimer: I turn 35 in a few days.

OP - it sounds a lot like you bought the wrong car for "dope" looks. Leave it be and appreciate its class.

Pfft! I'm old, and I say do what you want, it's your car. There a lot of mods i don't appreciate personally, but I don't have to drive it, so who cares.

Literally ANY wheel will look better than the stock wheels chromed(EWW!!!)! I would stick with known manufacturers of wheels and get something made for a Mercedes. I have TSW's on my car and they are lighter, stronger and more round than the stock wheels that came on my car! lol! If you got the $$$, you can look at fully-forged wheels, but they are costly! I prefer "Roll-Forged" wheels(Like my Bathursts) as they are much lighter and stronger than cast wheels(19x9.5 = <20lbs)

Congrats on the new acquisition!
As for wheel selection and other mods to affect the dope factor, it is all personal preference. Personally, on my MY2016 I went with BRABUS suspension and wheels, trunk spoiler, AMG rear valance and exhaust tips and left it at that. An unseen contributor to the dope factor on mine that it almost imperceptible is an Escort Max 360ci system.
as for the ILS upgrade, I'm 1 year and hundreds of dollars into the project and still not done - I wouldn't recommend it.

It's about a dozen parts to put it all together. From what I remember:
AMG Diffuser
Diffuser trim (3 pieces)
Diffuser hole covers (2 pieces)
Tow hook cover bracket
Tow hook cover
Diffuser support bracket
Exhaust tip brackets (2 pieces)
AMG exhaust tips (2 pieces)
A few rivets
I'll look around for my parts list. If I find it, I'll update the post.

Roughly around $1,200 USD - that's because my son-in-law gets me employee pricing and I found a great deal on the exhaust tips used. Otherwise that would have been the cost of the exhaust tips alone

Here's the parts list to upgrade the rear diffuser:

AMG Diffuser
part no.
212-885-31-38 ($157.00)
Diffuser trim (3 pieces) - these are for the black trim. I don't have the part numbers for the chrome version
Right part no.
212-885-54-21 ($102.00)
Left part no. 212-885-53-21 ($99.00)
Center part no. 212-885-50-21 ($100.00)
Diffuser hole covers - "cap" (2 pieces)
Left part no. 212-885-11-24 ($9.00)
Right part no.
212-885-12-24 ($8.00)
Tow hook cover lower bracket
part no.
212-885-02-56 ($7.50)
Tow hook cover
part no.
212-885-09-26 ($50.00)
Diffuser support bracket
part no.
212-885-66-14 ($53.00)
Exhaust tip brackets (2 pieces)
Left part no. 212-885-67-14 ($35.00)
Right part no. 212-885-68-14 ($35.00)

AMG exhaust tips (2 pieces) - I don't have part numbers and IIRC, they're in the neighborhood of $350-500/ea
However I believe these are the part numbers - confirm before you buy
Left part no. 231-490-01-27
Right part no. 231-490-02-27

Rivets (3) part no. 003-990-94-97 ($4/ea)

Love the look of the rear. How did you install the diffuser? I'm trying to get an rwcarbon diffuser for my w212 as well.
