I realize my opinion is in the minority here, but I'm not a big fan of the lighted tri-star. To me, it seems like one is screaming "Look at me. I drive a Mercedes. And I don't want the darkness of night to interfere with you knowing." It seems quite narcistic to me.

But hey, I've got to admit. They do look nice. But I just can't bring myself to do it.

Yea, that's another mod that I probably will never do. Although it is different, as for the most part the only people that will see it is the occupants of your car.

But I do want a standing star hood ornament on anything Merc,* and love the logo puddle lights ($20 on Amazon).

* Turns out I can’t get one on my ‘13 ML350. Bummer.
