Joining the club ['14 E 550]
Hey everyone! After keeping an eye on listings for a while, at the start of the month I found myself with the opportunity to pick up my first MB, a 2014 E 550 with 62,xxx on it. I purchased the car in Minnesota and drove back to Chicago. Loving it so far! I'll attach the window sticker and the first picture from the night drive back. How did I do?

Looks like you got just about everything other than the Premium 2 Package and Pano roof. It’s especially tough to find ones with airmatic so you got a nice one! I got my first MB a few months ago (2011 E550) and it’s been a dream Welcome to the E550 club!

He has the Pano Roof. I just hope he didn't pay $61,400 for it, or even half that much.

Missing Distronic, self park, parktronic and a few others, but still well optioned.

Yeah it just needed a couple more options to be perfect. But there's lots of base models E550's out there so it's still better than most. The lane tracking package is basically the driver assistance package without distronic. Just a few thousand away in options from really loaded. (But not fully loaded, you never really see one that's fully loaded with all available options).

Congrats on the purchase. I purchased the same car last year (well, with less options).
I added a Stage 1 tune right away and was super impressed with the increase over what was already a quick ride.
Enjoy.

Yes congrats! That is a LOT of car for low $20Ks!!!! We've got more options on ours, but it also is a '13 (my wife prefers the older look over the facelift - so all's good).
Enjoy!

It's been over 4 years since I traded a 2014 E350 4Matic, after 8 months for a 2013 E550. I really like this car as it goes like stink, and looks like any other E class out there. With it's Diamond White paint, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing! Congrats, and enjoy your new ride.

OE Tuning. They were running a Holiday special on the forum last year. Nice guys. No complaints but I don't have a benchmark to compare to.
A definite boost increase. So much so that the car still pulls for a few tenths of a second after you let off the gas which was scary at first. Hoping to get it dyno'ed with and without the tune soon.

I did the Stage 2 tune and Trans tune from Eurocharged.
That dropped the 0-60 from 4.5 sec to 3.45 sec (both times with rollout like the magazines use).
Crank hp is supposedly about 550 hp and 650 ft lbs as I didn't remove the cats. Supposed to be 580/695 if you do)
Audi RS5's, Corvettes, Challenger Hellcats etc are dead meat from a light,.... and there's no gap you can't make when puling out of a parking lot onto a highway.
