New guy here. Bought an E350 for my daughter and wanted to change out the grills.
I’d like to go from the luxury grill that’s on it now to the sportier grill (pictured). I bought the sportier grill but it looks like it’s either missing the outside chrome piece or i need to swap the one off of the current grill.
Anyone have any ideas?
Also - does anyone have a good source for the light up LED Benz emblem?
Weird how we all want what we don't have. My car has that sport grille and illuminated star, and I'd kill to have your current setup. But that is not possible (at least not reasonably) on the 2014-2016 models.

One, you already have the pre-facelift sport grille, the luxury has four bars, you also have the sport front clip.
Two, the grill on your tailgate is a post facelift sport grille it does not have a chrome strip, is has a painted surround to match the car I believe.

Um, not so pierre... There is indeed a chrome surround. Here's a close-up of it...
Not sure where to get the chrome surround if the part on the tailgate doesn't already have one. Everything usually comes as a complete unit.
OP, you can buy the illuminated star from eBay, pictured above (post #4).
The link to the one I bought 2-years ago no longer works, but if I recall correctly, this is a new link to the same seller (sklauto). Service was great and the price sounds about right. Two years later the illuminated star still works great...
Since we're on the subject: I plan on changing my facelift S212 grill out for a "diamond" style AMG grill. My car has Distronic Plus and a 360 Camera. Do I need to buy a grill specifically fitted for those options?

yes. Consider buying from 55tech, they have a few options that are compatible with distronic however you should look into the camera, im not sure about that.
