Misfire cylinder #1

2011 e550 with 102k miles.. Car was parked for about 4 month. I started the car and it sounded like it back fired. Check engine light came on. I checked the code and it say misfire cylinder #1. Which cylinder is number #1. Is this issue with coils, sparkplug or fuel injectors.
previously sometime when I start it car it will through out white blue smoke. Thanks all for help.

swap the coil with a different cylinder. if code swaps its the coil. if it stays, look at fuel injector issues

You might pull the plug and inspect it, especially if it's easy to get at (I'm not sure how easy it is to get to in the 5.5L)

My LSx in the GXP has plenty of miles and burns a little oil. The misfire code comes up after 20K miles or so, and I pull the plugs and clean them. YMMV

Look for wiring harness damage from mice/rats/squirrels, etc...

Its been sitting... personally I would give it a good drive or two, use up the tank. Fill up with fresh gas, maybe a bottle of fuel injector cleaner, clear the codes and drive it some more. Do the codes, keep coming back?

If so, then I'd play the swap-game as @Blkvip mentioned. If the follows, then its the coil. If it stays, could be the plug, damaged wiring to coil (control-side), could be fuel, etc... We just did a single coil on a '18 GLE with 40k. Typically its a bad coil IME, but I would test to confirm.

If you have a vehicle worth upwards of $15,000 that has 102,000 on the clock ,why not go for new coils and plugs on all eight cylinders.
Then run a good injector cleaner like chevron

Just sayin

Pull the connectors off the cam position sensors, cam solenoids magnets and ECU. 9 connectors in total. Presence of oil could be the misfire cause.

You may be correct but if If I am doing my own labor I don't like to skimp on parts. My comment was based on the high mileage and no mention of previous maintenance. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Op said lots of smoke at startup and a misfire. Why not eliminate worn or fouled plugs and old coils with weak spark and go from there.

Agree. I plan to replace coils at 100k miles on my GLE 350 with M276 3.5L NA V6. Why? Because I can, and because I want to. Replacing spark plugs on that engine is a bear, on the driver's side. If I don't replace coils at spark plug change time, and a coil goes bad (increasingly likely above 100k miles) I need to spend time and effort to diagnose then replace the failed coil.

There is far more utility for to spend the time, effort and money in replacing the coils at 100k miles, regardless of their condition.
