looking for advice E63 style diffuser / exhaust tips

Hi everyone.

After deleting the secondary cats and resonators on my 2011 e550 I decided the growl wasn't as loud as I want it to be. That being said, I'm planning on straight-piping my mufflers. I've been interested in retrofitting the AMG style quad exhaust tips (I love the aggressive look they give). My current plan is to have the stock diffuser and exhaust tips switched out to the AMG diffuser and having the straight pipes welded directly to the tips. Does anyone have some recommendations on the AMG style tips or diffusers? Thanks for any help and advice!

I've been looking at these:

tips: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Quad-Exhaus...3/322117393233

Diffuser: https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-10-13-M...k/174407999801

I’ve added the carbon diffuser with the full oem E63 amg catback exhaust. I recommend it 👌
i also removed the resonators and sounds awesome! Some pics below of summer and winter setups

Looks great! I love the summer rims. Where did you get your diffuser/ exhaust tips?

The muffler was local in Montreal. Found someone selling a used E63 full exhaust system. Fit perfect on the E550

I bought the diffuser on ebay, heres the link

I’d love a full exhaust from an E63 however they’re a lotta cake. I’ve been considering getting a set of magnaflow mufflers to make it more throaty. Here’s the link to them. What year was the e63 that the exhaust came off of?

I would also like to change the diffuser on mine. I've got the exhaust tip covers on, but would like to go the E63 route. I also have the muffler delete, j and x pipe with the res delete.

i won't vouch for it, but my interpretation of the online parts catalog says, the AMG 'finned' diffuser style piece is for the post-facelift E63's w/ the "Exterior Carbon" package, and I'm not sure that would fit with a pre-facelift bumper cover.

I suspect your best bet will be to find a totalled E63 with that rear trim at a junkyard, and get all those pieces off it, you might even need the whole bumper cover, I'm not sure if pre and post facelift are compatible.

I ordered this diffuser and I can confirm no other parts are needed. Fits the 2011 E550 bumper perfectly and also the AMG tips.
