what does it sound like in the next lane in another car just behind it with the window down, while going up a grade?

It's not very loud at all, to my surprise. It's about 1/5 as loud as the Magnaflow's I had on my CTS-V which you can hear here:

I'll post up a video tomorrow when I get my car back from the shop.

That's track specific, here in CT Lime Rock Park is the same way... but take track schools at Watkins Glen, NJMP, Summit Point and there aren't.

Hi everyone,

I decided to update this thread as I've come to a conclusion with my exhaust project. I ended up buying the same mufflers RDE38 recommended and the car sounds great now! It still sounds aggressive and has a nice idle with no more drone and sounds throaty rather than raspy at higher rpms. Overall I'm very satisfied, thanks for everyone's help!
