When I connected my Iphone to the bluetooth for music, the sound is spotty as it there is interference. The phone usage is fine. Any suggestions

It just dawned on me this is why I am replying now .Well, you can also turn off / on your phone and try to reconnect. Besides don't forget to switch off / on your phone's bluetooth prior to making this reconnection

The basics would be to restart the phone. But if you need to go further, you'd delete the pairing on both the phone and car and redo the pairing. You can also reset comand, I think it's a long press or some other combination aside from disconnecting the battery to reset comand. Then there's always a firmware update but that would require going to the dealer. My bluetooth was spotty on my 2011 but a firmware update fixed it.

2010 and 2011 models need the software update for streaming to work correctly. I have experienced this in both model years cars and in both it was corrected with the software update.

I tried unpairing/paring and it did not work. Sounds like I will have to get the firmware upgrade. Hate to give money to the dealer.

I think they only charged me around an hour and at time I was about to use a $125 off $250 coupon or something like that so it wasn't too bad. Of course they did a free check and came up with 4k worth of updates I should do but most of that was new tires and brakes. They did clean the car afterwards and I got some free drinks/snacks and I think some free sandwich as they had a free breakfast/lunch bar.
