My 2014 E250 turned past 210,000 miles this week. No issues to report, other than another oil and filter change and something from MB.
MB issued a settlement for most recent owners of their diesel cars but in order to qualify for the funds, you have to get a service recall on your exhaust systems. Got that done this week, and I swear it feels like another 20-30 hp has been added. Maybe it’s just having clean new exhaust components.
If anyone’s interested I can post a list of all the things that were updated or replaced on the exhaust system.
Mine is only 185000.
Had the modifications done and can't tell the difference.
The engine was lighting traction control on dry asphalt before, so maybe I should try burnout?
Since I have 2 of them, I put black one on ebay.
Unfortunately black color doesn't work well for Las Vegas

I think the E250 might be a future collectible due to being the last diesel available in the US combined with the last distinct looking E-Class mercedes sold.
When Bluetec sedans did not arrive to US after year 2015 (?) MB still offers the OM651 engine in 2021 Sprinters.
Sad as European models get OM654 engine.
As for E250 BT being collectible, I have my black model on ebay right now. $4000 bids so far. I hope it will go above 10 grands.
1985 MB diesel daily drivers sell for more.
